Softball Recap: Braintree Takes a Loss

After flying high against Milton on Thursday, Braintree came back down to earth. The Wamps came up short against the Dedham Marauders on Friday, falling 10-3. The Wamps were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Marauders earlier this season, when they won 13-1.

Braintree has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for Dedham, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Braintree will take on Oliver Ames at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Dedham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
