Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lehigh). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dunbar Tigers on Tuesday, sneaking past 28-26. The victory continues a trend for the Lightning in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

Seth Polk was a standout: she scored four runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in six of her seven plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Haylee Marquis, who scored five runs and stole Four bases. while getting on base in six of her seven plate appearances.

Lehigh's record now sits at 3-4. As for Dunbar, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Lehigh will head out on the road to challenge Gateway Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dunbar, they will be playing at home against Everglades City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dunbar has given up an average of 17.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
