Basketball Recap: Nic Carrasco's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tulia over Bushland

Tulia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 61-37 to the Bushland Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-46 back in January.

Tulia lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nic Carrasco, who posted seven points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Julius Johnson, who put up five points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Tulia now has a losing record at 16-17. As for Bushland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Tulia will square off against Dalhart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tulia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season. As for Bushland, they will be playing at home against Childress at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Childress sitting on three straight wins and Bushland on four.
