Soccer Game Preview: North Forsyth vs. Pinecrest Academy

The North Forsyth Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Pinecrest Academy Paladins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pinecrest Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on North Forsyth, who comes in off a win.

If North Forsyth beats Pinecrest Academy with four goals on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Raiders came out on top against East Hall by a score of 4-2 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for North Forsyth.

Meanwhile, Pinecrest Academy lost 5-1 to East Forsyth on Wednesday. Pinecrest Academy were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

North Forsyth now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pinecrest Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.

North Forsyth got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Pinecrest Academy by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
