Flag Football Recap: Grayson Starts Season with Win on the Road

Grayson had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Jackson County Panthers by a score of 14-7. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 19-7 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The critical scores for Grayson came from Bailey Thomas and Gianna Carvalho.

Grayson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carvalho and Danielle Tatum.

Jackson County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coincidentally, Grayson and Jackson County will both be playing Norcross the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
