River Ridge lost to Crystal River back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Royal Knights walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pirates.

Madilyn Way paced River Ridge's offense, picking up 11 kills. Way got some help from Vicki Dhima and her 11 assists. Way was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

River Ridge's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Crystal River, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

River Ridge has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Nature Coast Tech on the 4th. As for Crystal River, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Springstead on the 4th.
