Baseball Recap: Prairie View Takes a Loss

Prairie View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Santa Fe Trail Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Tuesday.

Prairie View saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalven Shelton, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Prairie View's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-2. As for Santa Fe Trail, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Prairie View will challenge Iola at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Fe Trail, they will square off against St. Marys at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
