Volleyball Recap: Denver North Takes a Loss

Denver North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Poudre Impalas. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Impalas from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Denver North was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Rheba Herbert and Summer Treiber, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Morelia Rodriguez and her five assists.

Denver North now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Poudre, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

Denver North has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Weld Central on the 4th. As for Poudre, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Broomfield on the 4th.
