Volleyball Recap: Leonia Victorious

The Leonia Lions narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bergenfield Bears 2-1.

Leonia's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bergenfield, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Leonia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against New Milford on the 9th. As for Bergenfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Dwight Morrow on the 8th.
