Volleyball Recap: Altamont Wins Going Away Against Pinnacle

Altamont won the last time they faced Pinnacle and things went their way on Monday too. The Longhorns put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Altamont was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-7.

Hazlie Bagley paced Altamont's offense, picking up nine kills. Bagley got some help from Lauren Thacker and her 14 assists. Chezney Bywater controlled things from the service line, finishing with 13 aces.

The win got Altamont back to even at 1-1. As for Pinnacle, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altamont will take on Manila at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup will give the Longhorns their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Pinnacle, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dugway at 3:15 p.m.
