Basketball Recap: Peoples Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

Peoples Baptist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 50-41 to the Bible Baptist Christian Eagles. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 33-28 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Peoples Baptist Academy still got an impressive performance from Lindsey St. Cyr, who posted 30 points. St. Cyr's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlynn Dorsey, who had nine points.

Peoples Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Bible Baptist Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Peoples Baptist Academy has already played their next match (against Trinity Christian School of Griffin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bible Baptist Christian will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Valley Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m.
