Oldenburg Academy entered their tilt with Southwestern on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Rebels by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Twisters, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ali Nobbe paced Oldenburg Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Nobbe got some help from Campbell Miles and her 14 assists. Nobbe was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Despite the loss, Southwestern still got an impressive performance from Jocelyn Johnson, who had eight digs and one assist.

Oldenburg Academy's victory bumped their record up to 25-5. As for Southwestern, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 18-13 record.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Oldenburg Academy will challenge Milan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southwestern, after both having extra time off, they and Switzerland County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
