Basketball Recap: King George Comes Up Short

King George lost against Atlee back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The King George Foxes took a blow against the Atlee Raiders, falling 65-34. The defeat leaves the Foxes without a win on the season.

Several Foxes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eli Truslow, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Sobota, who posted six points and five rebounds.

King George's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Atlee, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

King George didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-50 victory against Westmoreland on the 17th. As for Atlee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-63 win against Highland Springs on the 17th.
