Football Game Preview: Smethport Hubbers vs. Coudersport Falcons + How To Watch

The Smethport Hubbers will take on the Coudersport Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Saturday, Smethport was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 28-22 to Kane.

Smethport might have lost, but man, Jonah Ganoe was a machine: he rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and one TD. With that strong performance, Ganoe is now averaging an impressive 112.7 rushing yards per game.

Meanwhile, Coudersport played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Brookville, falling 41-20. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Coudersport's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Smethport, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.
