Softball Recap: Marsing Victorious

After losing to Non Varsity Opponent the last time they met, Marsing decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Marsing came out on top against Non Varsity Opponent by a score of 9-5 on Friday.

Brooklyn Roadenbaugh made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Taylor Callison and Lily Thoene did most of the damage at the plate: Callison went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Thoene scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Naomi Lewis was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

The win got Marsing back to even at 1-1.

Theydidn't rest on their laurels for long: they've already played their next match, a 19-6 beat against another Non Varsity Opponent.
