Basketball Recap: Desert Scorpions vs. Lone Pine Golden Eagles
Desert gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lone Pine Golden Eagles 66-39. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Scorpions also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Lone Pine's loss came despite strong showings from Cristian Duran and Anthony Guerra. Duran had 14 points, while Guerra earned ten points plus two steals. Another player making a difference was Ralph Enriquez, who earned three points along with five assists.
