Volleyball Recap: Lake Region Comes Up Short

Lake Region came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the George Jenkins Eagles, falling 3-0. The Thunder have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: George Jenkins scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-19.

Lake Region's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for George Jenkins, the win keeps they at an undefeated 16-0.

Lake Region wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Haines City on the 15th. As for George Jenkins, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Kathleen on the 15th.
