Basketball Recap: Bishop O'connell Falls Short Against Ranked Elizabeth Seton

Bishop O'Connell is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Elizabeth Seton. The Bishop O'Connell Knights took a 64-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elizabeth Seton. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (55), the Knights still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Bishop O'Connell and nudges their season record down to 11-8. As for Elizabeth Seton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-4.

Bishop O'Connell won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Elizabeth Seton, they will square off against Paul VI at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Elizabeth Seton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Paul VI likes a good challenge.
