Basketball Recap: Manhattan Takes Down Lodge Grass in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Manhattan had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They skirted past the Lodge Grass Indians 43-41. The victory was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Manhattan's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Lodge Grass, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-11.

Manhattan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lodge Grass, they will face off against Jefferson at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Jefferson will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Lodge Grass surely won't give up without a fight.
