Baseball Recap: Pilot Point Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pilot Point's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Callisburg Wildcats on Tuesday. If the Bearcats were looking for revenge after losing 11-6 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pilot Point saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Conner, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Pilot Point has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Callisburg, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

While Pilot Point had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
