Basketball Recap: Molly Showalter Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Kinsley

There's no place like home for LaCrosse, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 42-30 victory over the Kinsley Coyotes on Monday. This was payback for the Leopards, who suffered a 33-30 loss the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead LaCrosse to victory, but perhaps none more so than Molly Showalter, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Showalter a new career-high. Clara Thielenhaus was another key player, going 5-for-12 on her way to 11 points and six assists.

LaCrosse has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Kinsley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Looking ahead, LaCrosse will take on Minneola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Kinsley has already played their next match (against Victoria), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
