Garrett put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Fremont Eagles as the Garrett Railroaders made off with a 9-2 victory. That's more bragging rights for Garrett, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Grant Byers spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on one hit and racked up ten Ks.
