Volleyball Recap: Sauk Rapids-Rice Snags 11th Win in Last 12 Games

Sauk Rapids-Rice won the last time they faced Pequot Lakes and things went their way on Saturday too. The Storm came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0.

Stella Lambaere paced Sauk Rapids-Rice's offense, picking up eight kills. Lambaere got some help from Aubrey Marketon and her 17 assists. Lambaere was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Sauk Rapids-Rice has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. As for Pequot Lakes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-7.

Sauk Rapids-Rice wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Annandale on the 11th. As for Pequot Lakes, they will challenge Little Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
