Basketball Recap: Thorne Bay Takes a Loss

Thorne Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 81-44 loss at the hands of the Klawock Chieftains. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their loss to the Chieftains from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Thorne Bay's record is now 0-4. As for Klawock, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Thorne Bay is taking a road trip to challenge Kake at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Kake's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Klawock has already played their next matchup (against Skagway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
