Basketball Recap: Brayden Daniels' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calvary Baptist Academy over Morley Stanwood

Calvary Baptist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 74-48 to the Morley Stanwood Mohawks.

Several Kings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brayden Daniels, who posted 17 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Daniels a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Braydon Schwartzkopf, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards.

Calvary Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Morley Stanwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Calvary Baptist Academy will face off against Ubly at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Morley Stanwood, they will take on Chippewa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
