Haddon Township is 8-1 against Collingswood since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Haddon Township fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Gloucester City on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They came up short against the Lions, falling 11-5. That makes it the first time this season the Hawks have let down their home crowd.

Haddon Township saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Strauss, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one double. Madyson Walter also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Collingswood unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-0 to Gloucester City. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Collingswood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Haddon Township, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 6-4-1.

Haddon Township skirted past Collingswood 5-4 when the teams last played on April 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
