Basketball Recap: Addi Langlois' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Owatonna over Waconia

After flying high against Mankato East on Thursday, Owatonna came back down to earth. The Huskies fell 60-54 to the Waconia Wildcats on Saturday.

Owatonna lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Addi Langlois, who posted 12 points and four steals. Gia Schulz was another key player, going 5-for-7 on her way to 12 points.

Owatonna's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Owatonna will head out to challenge Northfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waconia, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eden Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on December 9.
