            Softball Recap: Simi Valley Pioneers vs. Vista Murrieta Broncos        
        
		
        
        
            Simi Valley and Vista Murrieta squared off in some playoff action  on Thursday, but Simi Valley had to settle for second. They lost  14-1 to the Broncos. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Pioneers have suffered  since March 20th.
 Simi Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brooklyn Gamez, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  RBI.
Simi Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 17-9-1. As for Vista Murrieta, they pushed their record up to 18-11 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Simi Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vista Murrieta, they are taking a road trip to  take on Santa Margarita  at 3:15  p.m.  on Saturday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7  runs per game  this season, so the Broncos' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
