Football Recap: South Kingstown Wins High-Profile Game Against Woonsocket

South Kingstown faced Woonsocket in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Rebels enjoyed a cozy 44-26 victory over the Villa Novans. The win continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Villa Novans: they've now won three in a row.

Brayden Rosen threw for 127 yards while completing 77.8% of his passes. Rory Murray was his top target, picking up 67 receiving yards. On the ground, Dante Peno rushed for 157 yards and a pair of TDs.

Woonsocket's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Braylon Guilbeault, who picked up 118 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Jalil Quinones Diaz, who picked up 87 receiving yards and one score.
