Volleyball Recap: Harrison Goblins vs. Greenwood Bulldogs
Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of the Greenwood Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. The Goblins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
Harrison took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 24-26, 16-25, 25-19, 15-7.
Greenwood had a senior duo take command as Lexi Wieser had 31 digs and three aces and Rylee Daniel had 12 digs and three aces. Wieser is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last ten games she's played dating back to last season.
Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Greenwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-11.
Harrison will head out to take on Russellville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenwood, they will take on Siloam Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
