Basketball Recap: Council Comes Up Short

Council lost against Grundy back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Council Cobras were outmatched by the Grundy Golden Wave and fell 77-36.

Council's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Grundy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Council wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-26 defeat against River View on the 10th. As for Grundy, they have also already played their next contest, a 70-27 win against Council on the 13th.
