Soccer Recap: New Hanover Starts Season with Victory Against American Leadership Academy

New Hanover had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the American Leadership Academy Gators a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Wildcats were the better team in the second half.

Coming up, New Hanover will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Cape Fear Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for American Leadership Academy, they will challenge Living Water Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
