Tabi Clark leads Pleasant Grove to victory over Herriman

The Pleasant Grove Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Herriman with a sharp 82-62 victory. The victory was familiar territory for Pleasant Grove who now have seven in a row.
Tabi Clark was her usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with nine rebounds. The match was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Newman, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds.
Pleasant Grove pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Herriman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
Pleasant Grove will finish 2023 at home by hosting Layton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Layton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday. Herriman will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Judge Memorial Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Judge Memorial Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Wednesday.
