Softball Recap: Lake Mead Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Lake Mead Christian Academy's offense. They came up short against the Needles Mustangs on Friday, falling 19-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Lake Mead Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Pascual, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Pascual snagged this season.

Lake Mead Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Needles, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Needles beat Lake Mead Christian Academy by a score of 17-0 later that day.
