Softball Recap: Century Extends Winning Streak to Four

Century had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 26-run drubbing they dealt Saddleback on Wednesday. The Centurions blew past the Roadrunners 32-6. That 26 run margin sets a new team best for the Centurions this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Century, bringing their record up to 6-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Saddleback, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Century will head out to take on Rancho Alamitos at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Centurions will need to watch out since the Vaqueros have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven matches. As for Saddleback, they will host Loma Linda Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
