Baseball Recap: Don Bosco Prep Makes It 14 in a Row at Home

Don Bosco Prep waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Bergen Catholic Crusaders with a sharp 8-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ironmen also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Don Bosco Prep's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Bergen Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Don Bosco Prep will challenge Wayne Hills at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Bergen Catholic, they will welcome St. Mary at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
