Volleyball Recap: Quad Cities Christian Takes a Loss

Quad Cities Christian lost against Morning Star Academy on September 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-14, 20-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Ambrielle Martin paced Quad Cities Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Martin got some help from Maddy Bollinger and her 21 assists. Jordan Britton controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Eden Kobernat had an outrageously good game for Morning Star Academy as she had 21 digs and five assists. Those 21 digs gave Kobernat a new career-high. Elizabeth Martin also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Quad Cities Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Morning Star Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Quad Cities Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Galesburg Christian on the 23rd. As for Morning Star Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Pathway Christian on the 23rd.
