Sam Rayburn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pasadena Memorial Mavericks, falling 19-8. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 5, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Makayla Flowers and Aleah Garza stepped up to the plate in a big way. Flowers went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and one double, while Garza went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.
