Recap: Owyhee Braves vs. McDermitt Bulldogs
The Owyhee Braves meant business on Thursday, getting buckets from all over the court against a Bulldogs squad that has allowed just 26.29 points per contest. Owyhee narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past McDermitt 61-59. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Owyhee.
McDermitt lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alexis Scott, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vina Tom, who scored 13 points.
Owyhee is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for McDermitt, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3.
Owyhee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-34 victory vs. Wells on the 9th. McDermitt has also already played their next contest, a 61-52 defeat against Eureka on the 9th.
