Wayne Valley won the last time they faced Lakeland Regional and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Indians walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Lancers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Justin Balestracci spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Michael Kamper, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Wayne Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lakeland Regional, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Wayne Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 loss against Ridgefield Park on the 4th. As for Lakeland Regional, they will host Passaic Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
