Greenhills waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They skirted past the Seaholm Maples 5-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-2 on Saturday.
Talen Pilz made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since April 1st.
