Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Forestburg

Forestburg had won four straight home games and Jesus Sanchez did his part to make it five on Saturday. The Forestburg Longhorns walked away with a 65-54 win over the Bellevue Eagles thanks in part to Sanchez, who posted 39 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Forestburg's points.

Forestburg's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Bellevue, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forestburg will square off against Midway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bellevue, they will face off against Saint Jo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Saint Jo will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bellevue surely won't give up without a fight.
