Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Notre Dame Prep had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They skirted past the Almont Raiders 7-5. The Fighting Irish have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

Notre Dame Prep secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Jack Leuchtmann, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits Leuchtmann has posted since back in March. Patrick Stieber was another, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
