Basketball Recap: Bainbridge Comes Up Short

After a string of three wins, Bainbridge's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Lynden Christian Lyncs and fell 67-35. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 114th, while the Lyncs are ranked 20th).

Bainbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lynden Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Bainbridge will venture away from home to challenge North Kitsap at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Kitsap will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Bainbridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lynden Christian, they will square off against Mt. Baker at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
