Baseball Recap: Foley Drops Season-High Score on Milaca

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foley). Everything went their way against the Milaca Wolves on Friday as they made off with a 17-11 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-3 back in April.

Weston Juetten made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Juetten was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Keagon Frisbie, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gavyn Wirth, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Foley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Foley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8. As for Milaca, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
