Steubenville had won six straight home games dating back to last season and Nylah McShan did her part to make it seven on Saturday. The Big Red took down the Chaney Cowboys 64-45 with plenty of help from McShan, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 18 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Chaney saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alyssa Brown went 9-for-22 on her way to 24 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Serenity Parker was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds.

Steubenville's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Chaney, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Steubenville is taking a road trip to square off against The Linsly School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaney, they will host McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
