Hardin and Warren are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Hornets will take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hardin is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Last Friday, Hardin got the win against East Chambers by a conclusive 15-6.

Jayden Phelps was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Trevor Jones, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Warren, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Kirbyville on Friday, sneaking past 3-1.

Warren's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Easton Evans, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

The victory got Warren back to even at 10-10. As for Hardin, their record now sits at 12-6.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hardin has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Warren struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Hardin suffered a grim 12-2 defeat to Warren in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
