Baseball Recap: Eleva-Strum Comes Up Short

After flying high against Augusta on Friday, Eleva-Strum came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell 9-5 to the Osseo-Fairchild Thunder on Monday. The Cardinals have struggled against the Thunder recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Eleva-Strum saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Graeden Zwiefelhofer, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Eleva-Strum's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they now also have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, Eleva-Strum will be playing at home against Pepin/Alma at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they will head out on the road to face off against Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
