Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Mary). They blew past the Stagg Delta Kings 60-0 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their six-point performance the contest before.

St. Mary's didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off seven passes before the game was over. Mila Townsend led the group effort, picking up four of those interceptions all by herself. Sosefina Hunkin got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

St. Mary's is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average over those games. As for Stagg, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Mary's will welcome Kimball at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Rams 10.2, the Jaguars 7.1) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Stagg, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McNair at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 12.6 points per game this season, so the Delta Kings' offense will have their work cut out for them.
