Penn Manor is a perfect 9-0 against J.P. McCaskey since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Comets are taking a road trip to take on the Red Tornado at 4:15 p.m. J.P. McCaskey took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Penn Manor, who comes in off a win.
Penn Manor had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Cedar Crest on Monday. The Comets never let the Falcons get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won nine in a row.

Kyleigh Lamborn made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run.
In other batting news, Scarlett Teran and Amelia Trout did most of the damage at the plate: Teran got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base, while Trout went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Trout has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Mia Skiadas, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
Meanwhile, J.P. McCaskey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Warwick, falling 7-1.
Lleana Martinez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, J.P. McCaskey saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alayah Gartman, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Gartman has hit this season.
The win got Penn Manor back to even at 7-7. As for J.P. McCaskey, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
Everything went Penn Manor's way against J.P. McCaskey in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Penn Manor made off with a 16-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
